Privacy

The short version: this site doesn't track you. There are no ads, no analytics, no cookies, and no accounts. It's a set of static pages and nothing you do here is sent to us or stored.

1. What we collect

Nothing automatically. This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies, and no contact forms, and it doesn't store anything in your browser.

The directory's “Suggest a doctor” and “Report outdated info” links open your own email app with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it. If you do, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to check and update the directory and, if needed, to reply to you. We never publish your name or email address, and we don't sell or share it. Please don't include health details you don't need to. Emails are handled by our email provider (Microsoft Outlook) under its own privacy terms, and we delete a message on request.

2. The self-check

The self-check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and result never leave your device and are not saved — refreshing the page clears them.

3. Clinicians listed in the directory

The doctor directory shows clinicians' names and professional details: clinic, work address, work phone number, and profile page. None of this is collected from visitors. It's work information that clinicians or their employers have already made public, matched to patients' reports of who treats RCPD. We show it so people with RCPD can find care, and we don't publish anyone's personal (non-work) contact details. Clinicians can ask us to correct or remove their listing at czernuka@outlook.com.

4. Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may automatically process basic technical information (such as your IP address) in its server logs to deliver the site and protect against abuse. We don't have access to those logs. That processing is governed by GitHub's privacy statement.

5. External links

This site links to outside resources — research papers, videos, doctors' websites, and the r/noburp community. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their own policies.

6. Your rights & contact

Laws such as Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights over your personal data. We don't collect any from visitors. The only personal data we hold is what's in emails people choose to send us, plus clinicians' work details in the directory. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete it, or ask a privacy question, by emailing czernuka@outlook.com. We don't sell or share personal data, and we don't use it for advertising. If we ever add something that processes personal data — for example, analytics — we will update this policy first and describe your choices.

7. Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience educational resource and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change with it.
